We've lived in Georgetown since April of 2015. We moved here from Colorado. We love it here.
We live on just under 3 acres, and have three goats, two miniature donkeys, two peahens, one peacock, around a dozen chickens (give or take).
Our "herd" and "flock" are all free range and have plenty of room to enjoy their life. All get along. The chickens sleep in their coop at night. The coop has an automatic door for their safety.
The peahens and peacock sleep on a tree branch about 20-feet in the air. This is normal for peafowl.
The goats and donkeys sleep in or around their shed based on the weather.
The donkeys protect everyone and have been very successful as we've not lost anyone to predators.
